With the Atlantic hurricane season approaching, meteorologists are recommending that certain regions take the proper precautions for the upcoming hurricane season. 

Forecasters at AccuWeather have just recently predicted an above average hurricane season this year, meaning that the number of expected storms is slightly larger than normal. According to the forecasters there may be up to 14 storms this season, which ranges from June 1 to Nov 30. Up to 4 of this 14 may become classified hurricanes. 

Based on these stats, it is within the advice of professionals to start planning well ahead of time so that safe measures may be appropriately executed.
