Don't Wait When A Storm Strikes
In the aftermath of a flood or storm,, there is a high potential for mold to accumulate. There are many risks associated with flooding in a home. Mold is dependent on moisture in order to grow, so it is of great importance to dry your home and furniture immediately. The time window is short and immediate action is needed: all items and the property itself must be completely dried within the first 24-48 hours. Each item in the home MUST be completely dried in order to ensure there is no potential for mold growth.
The clean-up process includes removing standing water and anything containing water. Afterward, there must be a prolonged drying period. This means removing water from every cabinet and drawer, wiping down all objects and surfaces. Doing so will allow for the property to be salvaged, for the least amount of damage.
